No, not really.There are mainly 4 sections in the entrance for economics(hons)
Questions on rajya sabha, Lok sabha , president, prime minister ,etc powers and limitation.Questions on constitution can also be asked.
For B.com
English
Same as above
Maths
Basic.
Questions related to accounts will be asked.

Yes the syllabus for the entrance test for both of them is same and mostly many univesities have the same entrance for the admissions to both Bachelor's in commerce as well as bachelors in economics honours .
