For taking admission in BTech programme, you must have passed Class 10+2 exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subject.

Also, you must have secured a minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the above subjects combined.

In order to take admission in the B.Tech courses you can give JEE Main. If you can obtain a good score in JEE main then through the counselling process you can get admission in good government and private colleges. In this year JEE Main will be conducted four times, in February, March, April & May. You can appear for all the four attempts if you fulfill the eligibility criteria of the exam.

The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2021 is

• Candidates should have passed class 12 or qualifying the exam in 2019 or 2020.
• Candidates appearing in class 12 or equivalent qualifying exam in 2021 can also apply for JEE Main 2021.

Also, some states conducts their own entrance exam. you can also appear for these to get a chance of admission in engineering colleges. Also, you can get admission in private engineering colleges through management quota as well.
