Is there any chance for direct admission in B. Tech(Bio. Tech) this year?

Keep these things in mind:
Most teachers don’t care about what you know. Usually they ask random questions about the presentation format(IEEE it seems..LOL),references etc. Just ignore them.Sometimes my blood boils when I think about this situation in RV.But that’s how it is. DON’T care about acceptance and opinion of such people. They are too frustrated with their own lives.
There are 10% of them who actually listen to what you present and ask sensible questions. Identify such teachers and take their guidance.Others will be pissed that they had to come to college on a Saturday for this.
Know everything about what you work on. It gives a bad impression if you are not able to tell what you have done.Students list these projects on their resume and you are asked a lot of questions on your projects in interviews.
Report is a waste of time. Importance is given to the format only and nobody cares about it. They are used by teachers for rough work sheets and attendance lists. So don’t waste your time and money on this .
Choose a topic preferably which is a real world application of what you have studied as you will learn more things about the subject in doing so(once you are in 2nd year). Otherwise, your knowledge will be limited to internals, exams only.
⚍ ⚎ ⚏7 6 7 6 0 8 0 0 0 8 for admission in RVCE CS or civil? 1. It all primarily depends on your interest, requirement( and not a necessity ), what kind of life you want to lead once you start working.
2. Give some time to yourself for finding out what actually you want from life.you will definitely find the answer by yourself.
I being a civil engineer, can tell you specifically about civil engineering.
It's the evergreen branch, I mean to say, somewhere or the other the construction works goes on continously as India is still developing, lot of infra projects are yet come down the lane .so ideally speaking one can find a job with some difficulty initially and mind you,far less than what your other friends belonging to other branches of engineering.( Students studying in state level colleges and not NIT's &IIT's )
if you are lucky enough the you will have a good salary hike and after say five years if you are lucky the one can reach to Asst. Manager post say in contracts department and on site you may handle a portion of a big residential project ( if you are into residential complex construction),salary might reach around say 6 lac per annum in india. And if you fly to gulf the you can earn somewhere around 2–2.5 lacs/month.if you go for CSE there as well, one can have the same or sometimes GET even more salary.
As a civil engineer your requirement at site is most required in most of the times.
Civil engineering needs the attitude and common Sense to get the work done by others as it's a combined effort( it's a chain starting from tendering till procurement and then labour's and at last if everything goes fine then project gets completed on time which is uncommon generally ) and not as in case if CSE where you are only concerned with the target u have been given by your immediate seniors or say team leader.
With a good social circle as a civil engineer, one can be an entrepreneur(contractor)soon after 2 years of experience in the construction field.what else can satisfy one being with his own firm,he/she being his/her own boss and a servant to his firm. The same is bit difficult in CSE
At last one cannot degrade other branches as every branch has its own worth.
This is just a small insight into the civil field and other branches of engineering ( CSE)
Donot ignore work life balance before deciding.
Be sure of what you need in life. At last SATISFACTION is what matters the most may be in life or at work !
If you want to take direct admission in RV college bangalore then yaah you may get on the donation basis but for that also you have to give the COMEDK entrance examination based on that only they will check your rank in comedk as well your 12th percentage they will prevail you the admission in B.tech at any course.
If you want to go through management quota then your fee structure will be more than the actual fee depending upon the branch you choose.
Good luck
