Three different categories of defence that is D1, D2,D3 is only applicable for govt/aided medical college of maharashtra. There are no such reservation for defence Ward's in private medical colleges of MAHARASHTRA.

The following categories reservation were applicable in private medical colleges in maharashtra.

SC, ST, VJ, NT1, NT2,NT3, OBC , OPEN CATEGORY (GEN), NRI.

so last year only seats were allocated in above mentioned category in the private medical colleges in maharashtra state counseling.
