Yes there is fees for both NITs as well as IITs

If we talk about B.Tech

The fees structure for NITs was decided by the MHRD in consultation with NIT Council which came out to INR62500 per annum tution fees for all the NITs

Whereas For example for the IITs the fee structure of IIT Bombay is Academic Fee amounting INR 119750 and mess charges of INR 13000
