Is there any news on cmc mbbs admission?

Hi Mohammed, Cmc vellore case is tentatively scheduled on 17th January, as it postponed from 10th January.. Hopefully it is completed soon and not postponed further

Hi Mohammad,

In the hearing on CMC Vellore admissions which took place before a two member Supreme Court Bench comprising Justices Arun Mishra and MM Shantanagoudar on December 6, 2017, it was decided by the Judges that the case will next be heard on January 10, 2018 .

However, it wasn’t heard on January 10 and the Court has listed the next date for January 17, 2018 (which is again tentative).

As of now, only one candidate has been admitted and 99 MBBS seats are still vacant at the college, which wishes to conduct its own final selection process on the basis of NEET scores and an additional interview round. The case has been dragging on since April, 2017, with the Supreme Court yet to issue its final verdict on whether CMC can be allowed to do so in contravention of existing NEET and MCI norms.

The admission process of CMC Ludhiana will most likely start in the month of June 2018. The admissions will be taken on the basis of NEET UG 2018 score.
