is there any problem in giving jee mains again and taking admission in nit /iiits ..if I m already studying in one of the iits (first year)

If you quality this eligibility criteria then you are allowed to give JEE Mains 2021:
Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main or JEE Advanced in 2016 or earlier, will not be ELIGIBLE to appear in JEE Advanced in 2021. The candidate who had taken admission in any institute other than IITs in 2018 is eligible to appear for the exam provided that the candidate satisfies other eligibility criteria.
Please make sure you confirm this information from an official because JEE Mains 2021 Information Bulletin has no exclusive column for this.

You can definitely appear for jee mains again if you are already studying in an iit. The condition is that you cannot appear for jee advanced as you are already in first year in one hf the iits. But if you wish to take admission in amy nit or iiit then definitely you can go for it.
