In the Maharashtra State Board HSC exams , the aggregate percentage of all the subjects is taken into account. In other educational boards in India like - CBSE , one language subject (mandatory) and three elective subjects are taken into account while making best 4 percentage out of a total of 5 or 6 subjects.

Hi Vanshita! No, the marks of only top five main subjects are chosen while calculating your percentage. IIT or Computer Science are treated as a grade subject but still it is important to pass in your sixth subject as well.
