There are many Universities and colleges which allows students for B.tech Lateral Entry in India through entrance exams or Direct admission on basis of Marks scored in Diploma or Bsc. Degree You might have to find a suitable job on your own after getting the degree from most of these private colleges.

Diploma students can take admission in B.Tech through Lateral Entry process.All state boards organise a lateral entry test for diploma students .Based on the entrance score counselling is conducted and students are given admission to state engineering colleges.

Some of the lateral entry test in India are:

Haryana Lateral Entry test(LEET)

LEEP,Rajasthan

HP LEET

Engineering Entrance competitive examination(Lateral Entry) ,Jharkhand

there are lots of btech colleges in india where there are reserv seats for lateral entry.

diploma students can join the btech fron 2nd year of btech course.

can you please elaborate the name of the colleges where you want to pursue btech, your stream of engineering in diploma.
