Yes of course it is considered as the one of the best private colleges out there. If you fall in general category and you have a clat rank somewhere near 3000 you can have a good chance of getting into the college. Apart from UPES Dehradun you can also check out KIIT Bhubaneswar and NMIMS. These three colleges are considered to be the best among private colleges.
