Islamiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore was established by the Islamic Mission of India (Regd.) in 1979. The college is a prestigious muslim minority institution. The college is providing excellent technical Education to the students of the region as well as coming from remote areas. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Since Islamia institute is not a big college yet, it is a developing college so due to this it doesn't have a good placements. Few small companies visit the campus and college's conversion rate is also not good.
