isn't it right that cbse should officially notify upper age limit for neet 2018 as many students have already started preparation for it??

Hi indranil,The candidates of NEET 2018 should have completed at least 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete 17 years as on or before December 31, 2018.There is no upper age limit for NEET 2018. NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims,and jipmer.The exam pattern is as follows:-

physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks

chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks

and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck

Yes the cbse should put up and official notification of all the eligibility criteria at the start of the year only and not during the release of the forms because if a student studies throughout the year and after that at the end after reading the criteria for appearing for NEET examination of he comes to know that he isn't fit for it how bad he would feel for it and after all his hard work and the entire year of his gets wasted. So I feel with respect to your recommendations too the cbse should declare the upper age limit of NEET examination

Just like there have been numerous speculations regarding the date of examination, there are many sources over the internet who have been stating that students above 25 years of age can apply for NEET-UG examination. However, no official notification has been out regarding the same.
Unless that is out, nothing in particular can be said regarding the age limit.

Yeah,

It is the duty of CBSE to announce the age limit.

But, they haven't spoken about it yet. And asked to wait till the opening of the application.

So, we have to wait and see.
