ITI exams generally fall into two categories: the Entrance Exam (to get admission) and the Main Trade Exams (conducted during the course).
1. Entrance Exam (For Admission)

Subjects:

Mathematics: Basic 10th-level math (Algebra, Profit/Loss, Geometry).

General Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology basics.

General Knowledge: Current affairs, history, and geography.

Marking: 2 marks per correct answer; no negative marking.
2. Main Trade Exam (CBT Pattern)

Trade Theory: Core subject questions.
Employability Skills: English, IT, and communication basics.
Workshop Science & Calculation: Basic technical math.
Engineering Drawing: Symbolic and geometric representation.
Passing Criteria: Minimum 33% in CBT subjects and 60% in Practical.
