Not only in JEE counselling but in every college counselling they ask you to submit the newly created documents like Caste, Domicile and Gap certificate.
Btw the all certificates should be created after April month in all types of counselling so if you don't have any new one then create it as soon as possible otherwise you will loose your candidature or the benefit of your caste.

Ek aay praman patr 3 years tak valid hota hai. So jee mains 2021 k liye tumhara aay praman patr year 2021(latest if possible), 2020-21, 2019-20 tak ka consider kiya jaa sakta hai.
Aap inme se koi bhi year ka attach kar sakte ho par aapk pass jitna latest document ho vahi upload karna.
