Both JEE Main is a very competitive exam, and so you need to prepare well to score a good rank. You can start your preparation by polishing your fundamentals; try NCERT books for doing that as they are easy to follow, and contain enough illustrations, examples and problems sets. Once you have the basics covered, you can move on to more advanced section.

As for you board exam, the JEE Main preparation will cover the major chunk of the board syllabus. There may be some topics that are not included in JEE Main, for which you have to prepare separately. But it shouldn't be a problem, as you will have the impetus, confidence and basic knoweldge to tackle them, having prepared for JEE Main.
