No Jee Main is not compulsory to get admission in computer science engineering. Jee Main is one of the entrance exams for engineering in India. You can also appear for another entrance exam for admission to engineering. There are many state levels entrance exam, university level entrance exams like BITSAT, SRMJEE, VITEEE etc.
But if you are asking about the tagged college that is JNEC, Aurangabad admission is done through both MHTCET and Jee Main. Maharashtra candidates need to appear for MHTCET Entrance Exam and All India Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidates need to appear for MH-CET/JEE Main Entrance Exam.
