The JEE Main reservation criteria is provided to candidates belonging to categories of GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and Person With Disabilities (PWD). Candidates who are appearing or are going to appear in the upcoming session of JEE Main should know how understanding the reservation norms is beneficial in terms of comparatively lower application fee, cutoff marks, and also the course/ admission fee payable at the time of admission in the respective institute. There are institutes that follow the reservation criteria while there are others that follow the home state quota and other state quota.
GEN-EWS - 15%
OBC-NCL - 27%
SC - 15%
ST - 7.5%
PWD - 5% in each category

If you are St candidate and have secured rank in JEE mains then yes, your rank will be considered.
There are many categories in JEE mains like general, OBC, SC, ST, PWD.
