Hi Vishal,
NITs are the best engineering colleges in India after IITs. There are exceptions as well. There are 31 NITs in India. These are Institution of National Importance.
In order to get admission in NITs you will have to crack and Qualify JEE Main examination. After JEE Main the admission is taken through JoSAA counselling. The basic eligibility criteria required for getting admission in NITs is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 board examination with at least 75% marks or he/she should be in the top 20 percentile list in his/her respective board. Although this criteria has been scrapped for this year on account of Covid19 pendemic.
