is domicile certificate is one of the documents which you must have during the verification procedure is because in case you are applying for the 85% state quota of a particular state you need to prove that you are a resident of that state why are you domicile certificate and even if you are opting for the 15% all India quota you need to prove your domicile in a particular state other than the one in which you are applying as a mandatory for manatee, so you don't need to have it at hand and produced during the rounds of verification or admission as and when required

sir i m from bihar n hv done class 8 to 12 in delhi...of delhi address bt now m not residing there ..i hv changed my place .. that's y i m asking ..i don't know wat to fill in aiims form ..the domicile certificate of where .... plz rply back

The Domicile Certificate is required as a proof of residence to avail Domicile/Resident quotas in the educational institutions.
If you're applying for 85% state quota seats then you should have domicile certificate for the state from which you belong. This will be one of important documents that you'll be asked to submit during the counseling process for verifications.
Whereas for 15% AIQ seats, you need to submit your domicile certificate as a proof of the state from where you belong - as an identity proof and thus for further verifications
And so domicile certificate- is a mandatory document.
To avoid any admission issues later- try to get the certificate made as it's a long process too.
