Let's say i get NIT Trichy while pursuing Cse from CEG Guindy. Should i leave CEG and join NIT?

It depends on the branch you get at NIT trichy and also if you are pursuing your passion.
If you do not get the branch of your preference,then you may not want to go there.
But,when it comes to the exposure that you get at the NIT' it is a lot more than whats available at CEG.
NIT trichy has a much greater reputation and placement record than CEG.
CEG also limits your overall exposure.Especially now the University is being caught up in many scams.
I suggest you take NIT if you get a branch that you are interested in.
Else continue pursuing your passion here.
nevertheless,both are top ranking institute of India.

Yes , if you are getting nit Trichy then you should take admission there . Nit Trichy is one of the top college .
My suggestion is that you should leave ceg and join nit Trichy .
