Madras high court gave judgement that there should be no negative marking in the entrance exam, on 1st of Feb 2019.
Dear Srikanth, it is true that the Madras High Court looked into the Case of Scrapping of Negative Marking. And in its order it has ordered the competent authority to look into the matter. NTA is the exam conducting authority of JEE. So both CBSE and NTA has to take the necessary actions. And there has been no official news on it as such. However, JEE Mains and Advanced are conducted at National Level and Madras High Court is a State Level court. And its orders can be only acted upon in the State of Tamilnadu and not elsewhere. If there has to be any changes made in JEE, they have to be made at National Level. So it is a long process ahead and it might not happen or be implemented this year.
