I think the reason for this error is that in the Correspondence Address section, you did not untick the option of ‘Same as Permanent Address’. If you haven’t completed the fee payment, you can still change the address by clicking on the ‘Edit Application Form’ option. However, if your fee payment is complete, then this address can unfortunately not be changed. The address details cannot be changed in the application correction window either as per the current rules.

Eitherway, I would request you not to worry. The correspondence address is more often than not asked only as a formality. The CBSE hardly ever corresponds with candidates through post. All the important NEET processes take place in online mode through the official website only.

Also, the candidate’s address does not impact either the merit or eligibility so is not an important part of the selection process. As long as all your important details match with your Aadhar particulars, you are safe to apply. Ensure that you go through the form again and see if there are any discrepancies which you are allowed to correct in the application correction window between March 12 and March 16. The admit card will be available from the second week of April onwards so ensure that you download and keep the same on time. Prepare well for your exam for now! Once you clear NEET, you can carefully proceed with filling the details for counselling so that there are no mistakes there.
