Both are holding equal position in industry based,scopes future growth and salaries too.But when we will choose among both only one is then we must see our self like your interest,skills matching or previous experience ,achievements are linked which profile ,basis on this we must select this.
But as per my suggest you must go for Marketing as a male candidates because now days most of companies recruiting HR as a female but its not mean they are not recruiting Male candidates .If you are good in understanding business ,Motivate to others,marketing skills like communication ,Product knowledge capture easily ,Team Handling ,Sales strategy then you must go through Marketing .
