May I know the cutoff score for neet pg in telangana govt.colleges in obc category
I agree to Somesh's answer on this question. But cut off changes & varies from college to college and also depends on level of difficulty of exam year on year. So my advice to you is aim high , prepare well , do mock tests as much as you can and score well because the better the score , safer you are.
Dear Gowthami,
There are a total of four Government Medical Colleges offering admissions in Telangana through NEET PG. These are:
- Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal
- Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad
- Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad
- Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad
Please note that Telangana offers admissions to OBC candidates under BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D and BC-E categories. The reservations are also dependent on gender, local areas of candidates and the colleges they are seeking admissions to. Muslim Minority reservations are also included under each of these. Also, NEET PG offers admissions to seats in numerous specializations through MD, MS and Diploma courses.
I would request you to specify the exact BC category, your local area and the specialization seat you are interested in joining so that accurate cut-off data from NEET PG 2017 can be shared with you. Please do remember that cut-off scores are dependent on a number of factors and may change from year to year so you should always take previous year's cut-offs as indicative and not final.
In the meantime, you may check below the last cut-off scores and ranks from NEET PG 2017 for each Telangana Government college irrespective of genders, specializations, local areas and BC categories (only excluding Muslim Minority ranks):
- Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal
The cutoff score to obtain a seat here was 679.1594 out of 1200 marks in NEET PG 2017. The candidate belonged to the BC-A category, secured a NEET PG rank of 61,260 and was allotted a seat in MD (Biochemistry).

The NEET PG cut-off score to obtain a seat here was 655.6959. The candidate belonged to the BCA category, secured a NEET PG rank of 62,853 and was allotted a seat in MS (General Surgery).
