Dear candidate, you can pursue a merchant navy course even after taking commerce in class twelfth. You need to enroll in a GP Rating Course. Three in takes of this course are:

Students have to undergo a 1 hour written test for English and Mathematics. Minimum educational qualification required is: 10th passed (from a Recognized Board). Aspirants possessing other advanced educational qualifications may also apply. It also means that 10th passed and 12th failed students are also eligible to pursue this course.
