There is special education, special education deals with the education of those students for whom the teaching procedures are to be individually planned and monitored systematically. After doing a B.Ed. course in special education an educator is able to provide the special needs students with a higher level of self-sufficiency in their learning and day to day living. Without the need-based education, life for these students would be way away from normal. B. Ed. in Special Education is available in following specializations; mental retardation, hearing impairment, visual impairment, learning disability, multiple disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.

Eligibility

The minimum qualification required is a pass in B.A./B.Sc. or any other equivalent degree. Some colleges require a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

Duration

It’s a full-time two-year undergraduate degree course.
