Mhtcet cutoff for admission in btech biotechnology

If you're aiming for BTech in Biotechnology through MHT CET 2025 , your admission will depend on your rank, college choice , and category . While official cutoffs will be released after counselling, we can get a fair idea by looking at past years.

Expected Cutoff Ranges (General Trend)

Biotechnology generally has lower cutoffs compared to courses like CSE or IT. For General category , top government colleges usually close around 15,000 to 40,000 rank . In private colleges, the cutoffs can go up to 80,000 or even higher .

For OBC category , you may get in with a slightly higher rank , often 2,000–10,000 ranks above the general cutoff.

• ICT Mumbai (Biotech) : Closed around 13,000–18,000 rank

• VIT Pune / MIT Pune : Around 25,000–45,000 rank

• Private Colleges : Many go up to 70,000–90,000 rank

• Some lesser-known colleges may accept up to 1,00,000+

To qualify, you’ll likely need:
