for getting admission in computer science 60%  minimum or higher marks overall acedemics are required. It depends for which engineering college you are looking for because cut off vary from various institutions. The cutoff of closing score/rank for admission to CS branch at a particular institute/college through the respective entrance test remains quite high, as Computer Science is the most popular branch among Engineering aspirants.However, different institutes and exams have different cutoff or closing marks/scores as per the different branch of engineering and category of the candidates.
