If you belong from sc category, then you must have to secure a very good rank, as well as marks in jee advanced to get cse in any one of the top 7 iits.
Now, for getting a sure seat in the 7th ranked iit, i.e, iit guwahati, you have to secure atleast under 170 rank for getting cse.
So, for getting 170 sc rank you must have to score atleast 140 marks in jee advanced.
Then you can imagine that for getting cse in top iits like iit madras, iit Delhi or iit Bombay you have to secure under 50 sc rank, that is your jee advanced marks must be above 160.
