B.tech in Upstream & Applied petroleum engineering is one of the 4 years undergraduate program provided by UPES, production, and exploration of oil & gas is one its major focus. those who want to get enrolled in this program they must fulfill some criteria such as minimum 60% marks in 10th & 12th also it requires an aggregate of 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths in their 10+2 and with this, the eligible students are selected on the basis of the entrance exams(UPESEAT or IIT entrance). In UPES upto 20% seat is given through JEE Mains score, minimum 60% percentile score in JEE is needed for admission in UPES for B.tech in Upstream & Applied Petroleum Engineering.
