APSET exam is conducted to shortlist aspirants for the post of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted by Andhra University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh Government. Andhra Pradesh has 26 Universities, 146 Government Degree Colleges, 1192 aided as well as unaided degree colleges.
