1.SSC CHSL(Combined Higher Secondary Level)

The most popular exam for 12th pass students which recruits for clerical and data entry positions in various ministries of the government. Posts like LDC(Lower Division Clerk), JSA( Junior secretariat assistant), and DEO(Data entry operator); with an age limit of 18-27 years including relaxations for OBC\SC\ST\PwD.

The exam is conducted in two tiers; Tiers1 and Tier2 with objective type computer based test and objective type+ skill\typing test respectively.

2. SSC Stenographer (Grade C and Grade D)

One needs to know shorthand or should learn in order to appear for this exam. The eligibility criteria is 12th pass with a knowledge in stenography. It is a Computer based exam based on Shorthand skill test. It has an age limit of 18-30 for grade C and 18-27 years for grade D.

3. SSC GD Constable

One needs to be physically fit in order to serve paramilitary forces like BSF, CRPF, etc. The eligibility is 10th and 12th pass with an age limit of 18-23 years. A computer based exam is done with PET( Physical Efficiency Test) and PST( Physical Standard Test).

4. SSC MTS( Multi-tasking Staff)

The minimum requirement is 10th pass but various 12th pass do apply for various non-technical roles in government offices.
