my category rank was 75646 and common rank 865367 which rank will be considerd in counselling

Hello Dear Student,

In counselling, both ranks are important , but they are used for different purposes.

• Your Category Rank (75,646) is used when seats are reserved for your specific category/community. This gives you an advantage compared to students within the same category.

• Your Common Rank / AIR (865,367) is used for general/open category seats and overall eligibility during counselling.

So, during seat allotment, the system checks both ranks depending on whether the seat is under:

• Category quota , or
