my jee main CRL rank is 254501 where my obc category rank is 89760 which will be calculated in csab counselling and also which nit will I get I want ece or metallurgical branch

In CSAB counselling, your OBC-NCL category rank is considered for reservation benefits, while seat allotment is done according to the applicable category-wise cutoff ranks.

With a CRL rank of 2,54,501 and an OBC-NCL rank of 89,760, getting ECE in NITs is likely to be difficult. However, you may have chances in some lower-demand branches in newer NITs and GFTIs during the CSAB special rounds.

You can try for:

• NIT Mizoram
• NIT Nagaland
• NIT Arunachal Pradesh
• NIT Sikkim
• NIT Manipur
• Some GFTIs with core branches

For Metallurgical Engineering, there may be possibilities in a few institutes if seats remain vacant in CSAB rounds. Make sure to participate in all rounds of counselling.
