Hello Shweta,
With a CLAT rank of 7410 and an EWS rank of 662, you have a very high chance of securing a seat in the top-tier NLUs. By looking at the previous year trends(and 2025) the situation is in your favor. Your EWS rank gives you a chance of securing a seat in the below mentioned NLUs:
- NLSIU Bangalore : High chance as the closing rank for round has also been 703.
- NLU Jodhpur : the closing rank for EWS is usually 980, ands therefore again a high chance.
- GNLU Gandhinagar : the EWS rank closes at 1100, you have a chance here as well.
- NALSAR Hyderabad : If we look at the last year's EWS closing rank, your chances are moderate. The closing rank was around 546-564.
If you geta lower-tier NLU in the first round you can always choose the "FLOAT" option. However, you do have a good chance of making in the top-tier.
I hope the information helps you.
Thankyou.
Hello
With a CLAT AIR 7410 and EWS rank 662, getting a top NLU (Tier-1 or Tier-2) is very unlikely.
However, you may have some chances in lower-tier / newer NLUs, mainly in the last rounds or vacancy rounds. Possible options include NLU Tripura, NLU Meghalaya, NLU Sikkim, NLU Nagaland, and NLU Andhra Pradesh, depending on cut-offs that year. Admission chances improve if you have a home state domicile for any of these NLUs.
