my CMR-5755 Obc-1157.councelling is called on the basis of CMR right? then how catogory rank is considered?is there seperate councelling?

Everyone is called for counselling on the basis of their common merit rank.
Now some seats are reserved for obc,sc,st,etc.
So lets say all the students under 5000 cmr have done counselling but there will be seat reserved for you when you come for counselling if all the obc seats are not filled.
Thats how the category system quota works.
