my date of birth is 1 Jan 2002 am I eligible for neet 2017 and also can I appear in exam

Hi Ankit, I think you still have a chance to apply for NEET 2018. While the current rules clearly state that a candidate will only be eligible for admissions through NEET if they complete age of 17 years at the time of admission or on or before 31st December of the year of admission, the birth dates specified for this eligibility are slightly different. So while one part of the eligibility rule states that you should complete 17 years by December 31, 2018 to be eligible for admissions through NEET 2018, which makes you ineligible by one day, another part of the rule states that the candidate should be born on or before January 1, 2002. This could be an error in language on part of the CBSE, but I would recommend you clarify this at the earliest by getting in touch with the CBSE officials either by writing a mail to neet.cbse@nic.in or calling the NEET branch at 9599590192 or 9599590193. Hi Ankit ! You are not Able to Appear in NEET 2018 , Becoz For Registration In NEET Candidate must required min.17 year. But don't worry its a golden chance for you that you got more time to study well & in that time you can Solve more questions & Crack NEET in First Attempt. Good luck !! The lower age limit to appear is 17 years (completed). You will be 16 years by may 2018 so please reconsider before registering.
