Hello Mr. Shankar,
If your daughter has studied in India until Grade 5, moved to another country for Grades 6 to 8, and is now coming back to continue her education in India—she will not be classified as an Non-Resident Indian (NRI) for EAMCET or any other entrance exams—as long as she completes her 10+2 (intermediate) education in India. EAMCET (AP or TS) eligibility is usually based on a student’s study location over the last 4 years before the exam (generally 9th-12th grades), after which students are classified as either local or non-local. Therefore, if she attends Grades 9 - 12 in India, she should qualify as a local get to be considered for local quota admissions.
In short, it only matters that she has studied the required years in India before the exam, it doesn't matter that she studied somewhere else earlier.
