My ews certificate has my photo on the top right corner but the certificate format shown in josaa website has space for photo on bottom left

This situation is completely dependent on your reporting center personnel. Some official are strict and want to blindly follow the rules without context. But in most of the cases, and is very common, JoSAA reporting officials are very helpful and understanding and will verify your documents without a problem. I would like to tell you about my last year experience, my OBC-NCL certificate did not match with the prescribed format, the reporting officer did not object and just verified it on his system with the certificate number.
So my verdict is there will be no problem with so minimal issue in certificate format. But while if you can, why not get it signed in the prescribed format, prevention is better than cure.
