Please telus your general  category rank by that we can help you more perfectly. But with this rank in obc category you can get some dept in ju but for popular depts your chance is quit low but you can try for those.

Admission to any college through WBJEE Counselling is only based on GMR and not on any category rank.

With OBC B , Suppose you get 3000 GMR then you have a chance of getting the department like those of Production Engineering Printing Engineering, Construction Engineering, Pharmacy. You stand a good chance of getting CSE and IT in MAKAUT.

Well, i cannot guarantee that you will be conferred a seat in Jadhavpur but yes you can get a seat in MAKAUT. As for admission, you need rank under 1800 for admission in Jadavpur University and for admission in MAKAUT rank under 4000 is enough which is enough for you get a seat in MAKAUT,but don't loose heart waits for the counselling.
