My father income is 8 lakh per annum and belong to ST category I am getting MNIT so can I get Tution fess waiver as in fees structure of MNIT because there is no mention about ST category family income in fees structure of MNIT

Hi,
I would like to inform you that the institute fee in MNIT for the SC/ST candidates for the first semester is 35,500 and the hostel fee is 47,000 for the first semester. So you only need to pay a total of 35,000 + 47,000 i.e. 82,000 for the first semester. No matter how much is your family income, the tution fee will be waived for each and every candidate who belongs to SC and ST category.

So as per your query, generally minority community like SC, ST, and EWS category students gets fee waiver if they required but as you mentioned your father income is around 8 lakh per annum so it will get little difficult to get fee waiver. As the parents income should be less than 6 lakhs generally. But you can definitely apply for fee concession, it will depend on the college authorities that they will provide you fee concession or not.
