Yes, their is quota for Army wards. It is approx 1% in uttar pradesh. However the counseling has not started yet it will start soon then you can will be able to know the exact data. But yes according to last year it is 1%
Here is the criteria :-

If your mother or father are in any of the tri-services ( Army, Navy or Airforce)
-
They are ex-servicemen with service period of at least 10 years then you are eligible for it
-
both you and your parents holds the domicile of that state.
