My friend (girl) scored 87.percentile in jee belong to OBC can she get a seat in nit college

Hello!!!
As the cut off of OBC category is 74 percentile and she is a girl child thus she might get into a nit which are in the end of the list. As there are fixed number of seats reserved for girl child. But I would suggest her to focus on her jee advance so that she can get to an IIT instead.
