According to the official one needs to get atleast 65% in +2 level to get admission into IIT NIT IIIT CFTI for pwd category. If his percentage is below than that he won't get admission into IIT and NIT.
The other thing is he should be within top 20 percentile of his respective board. Then he can get into iit / nit.
