My gate 2018marks is 22.2,set 1, BC... how will I get into NIT tricky..is there any separate test for ME or direct PhD....

no there is no other test for admission in NIT Trichy other than that of gate adding to that your marks are not sufficient to allow you for admission in MTech course.

for the Ph.D. admission, you must have completed in the bachelor of technology and masters in technology all you have to do is to apply for the Ph.D. course based on your application which implicates your academics details and your experience they will call you for a written test. The candidates shortlisted based upon the test you are required to appear for a technical and personal interview by the concerned department research committee HODs all associate professor and dean's observer.
