My general rank in jee main is 54k.And my ews rank is 8.8k.Can i got cse in nit silichar?I am from ap.

As you have secured 54000 general category rank in JEE mains 2020 then there is no chance that you can get NIT Silchar. Now as you want computer science engineering then also there is no chance that you can get this branch in NIT Silchar.
Because the last year cutoff closing ranks for other state candidates for computer science engineering in nit silchar was :-

General category :-
Male candidates - 12823
Female candidates - 18947

Ews category :-
Male candidates - 1691
Female candidates - 2639

So as you can see even from your ews category rank you cannot get computer science engineering branch in NIT Silchar or any other nits.

Now as you said that you belong from AP then you must mention the full form of it, because two States can be assumed on basis of just AP - Andhra Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh.
Now if you belong from Andhra Pradesh then there is no chance that you can get any branch in NIT Andhra Pradesh even from your home state quota and in NIT andhra pradesh there is no reservation for ews candidates.
But if you are from Arunachal Pradesh then you can easily get NIT Arunachal Pradesh computer science engineering branch or any other branch by applying your home state quota.
