With an SC preparatory rank of 4721 getting a preparatory seat in IIT will depend on the number of available preparatory seats, category wise seat allocation, and the cut of rank release during the JOSSA counselling. it is difficult to predict admission with certainly based on the rank alone.

My suggestion is to participating all rounds of JOSSA counselling and keep as many IIT option as possible in your preference list. sometimes seat allotments change in later rounds due to seat movement and withdrawals.
