My JEE Mains ranking is 12370 while my advanced ranking is 11216.I belong to general category.Which college can I get?pref is CS but flexibl

Based on previous years closing ranks, you don't have a chance to get into an iit. But you can secure a seat in nits. You can get CSE in-
NIT Agartala, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Puducherry, NIT Sikkim, NIT Manipur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Srinagar, NIT Uttarakhand.
But if you want to get into better nits you can choose ECE/EEE, in which case you can enter better nits like-
NIT Hamirpur, NIT Patna, NIT Andhra Pradesh, NIT Jamshedpur.

Sriharsh, I will list down the top colleges that you can get under JEE Main. This is based on your rank and previous year cutoffs. You can try for admission in these colleges:-

• Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar
• Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur
• Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal
• Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad

For CSE, you can take admission in following :-

• National Institute of Technology Agartala
• National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh

But again it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.

Getting 11k rank in jee advance can get you nothing so better shift your aim from iit to best nits.
As well as with 12k rank in jee mains cannot get you admission into any top nits with computer science branch so I would suggest you to take admission into top nits like nit trichy , nit warangal or suratkal with chemical or civil . Or even best with metallurgical engineering after that work a year harder in your college and make a great gpa and then convert your branch to your desired branch in college .
