My neighbour secured admission for private course on Physiotherapy in MGM college, Khandeshwar. Now she is getting in KJ Somaiya, Sion under NEET admission round. This collge is more reputed, has less fees and also close enough to commute. The private college is not cancelling. What to do? Rules pls

Dear Shailesh, Private Colleges have strict rules when it comes to admissions and cancellations. In case you are planning on cancelling your seat, you will have to pay the entire course fees in advance. This is because the college is forgoing a potential candidate for the rest of the duration of the course. While the amount may be negotiated with the Administration, the rule remains the same. The rules and regulations do mention that and your friend must have signed a document stating the same as well during the admission process. Unfortunately if that has happened, little can be done.
