you cant guess
1..understand that this percentile is only in one session of paper , this was not in total candidate's
2. Now , 2nd paper of jee main will be April so The student s who scored less percentile have a final chance to get more and improve there score
3. Your home state , and catagory
As the rank will be calculated by taking your best scoreLet assume you not improved your score then your rank will definitely goes down as other will improve their percentile viceversa
From this percentile you cant calculate your final rank , so this implies that you cant decide nit and branch1
Hope you get it...
Your general category rank would be around 65,000.
.
It would be tough to get into any decent NITs with this rank under general category but you have many other options which are private universities that give admission based on jee merit and not their own entrance exams ( which eliminates srm, manipal, vit etc.)
Thappar and Nirma university are the ones I know about who have ranked in top 100 nirf ranks and even give admission based purely on jee merit. These colleges are pretty decent in academics as well as have good placement records.
Further you can get gftis and north eastern NITs which you'll get through josaa.
For now you should concentrate on BITSAT and JEE Advance.
Good luck
According to your percentile your rank would be around 65k-70k(by careers360 rank predictor). But this percentile is not sufficient to fetch a seat in Nits/Iiit/gfti.still you have a chance to get into Nits, prepare well for april exam. As there is less time you should work smart. Prepare a schedule as per the known weightages and work evenly for the 3 subjects. Prepare short notes for chemistry from ncert. Also prepare a formulas list for maths and physics. Time management is also an important thing,so work on the practice papers within the given time. Maintain a error notes where you should note all your errors so that it will be useful for revision
Good luck!
